The Sewing Machine Shop was established in 1979 and has had it's retail location in Walnut Creek, CA since 1991.  Our philosophy was and still is to seek out the highest quality sewing machines that we could find and offer them for sale at the guaranteed best price possible.  We currently sell Bernina, Pfaff, and Janome and feel these machine brands provide our customers with the best quality, performance, and value.   Our friendly and knowlegable staff are sure to help you find the right machine for your needs.  We follow up each sale with free usage classes and our award winning service department is ready to help you with any technical or warranty issues that should arise.  Thanks again for considering The Sewing Machine Shop for your next machine purchase.

Service Department

Our service department is considered by many to be the best in the Bay Area.  Between brothers Marty and Dan Schoenberg, we have over 40 years of experience repairing various makes and models.  Whether you have a Pfaff, Viking, Elna, SInger, New Home, Janome, Brother, Babylock, White, or any other brand of sewing machine that needs repair, The Sewing Machine Shop Service Dept. should be able to help. Many times, customers choose to trade-in their sewing machine once they see how easy and amazing the new sewing machines are.

Education and Classes

We have a beautiful classroom and have a variety of clubs and classes that brings out the creativity in each sewer.  Please check in on a regular basis to see what is being offered.
