Embroidery on Organza

SUPPLY LIST:

• Sewing Machine, power cord, foot control,
• Embroidery Unit, largest hoop, embroidery foot
• Plaid Stencil Cutter-$20.00-purchase at The Sewing Machine Shop
• 40wt threads for the colors in your design
• pre wound bobbins or if you want your design to be free standing, you need to wind bobbins with the same color as the top thread
• 1 yd of polyester or nylon organza or organdy
• Schmetz Embroidery or Titanium Needles Size 12 or 14
• your sewing binder with The Quick Reference Guide, Name tag
• You can use one of these Embroidery design options: 
  • Anita Goodesign-Designer Roses-#82AGHD-$89.99-need to order--design in sample picture
  • Anita Goodesign-Audreys Roses-#58AGHD-$69.95- need to order
  • Grandma's Roses #12009-$49.00- purchase at The Sewing Machine Shop-we will burn the CD--can see designs on www.embroideryonline.com

Directions before class

If you use Grandma's Roses,You will need to edit the design and remove any outside running stitches, using The Edit option in the 4-D Suite or not stitch out that color    

You will need to have these designs loaded into your machine before class

In this Club Meeting we are going to make embroidery designs that you will be able to applique onto other fabric or garments. Also we will not use any stabilizer.  We will also re-embroider over the design twice so that it has dimension.   It's lots of fun.  I look forward to seeing all of you.
