Snap Bags for Gift Giving

Join Lynne Douglas for a fun day of making snap bags. These are quick and easy and make great Holiday gifts. By the end of class you will have several made. Working from the original pattern you can make them larger or smaller as you wish. Great stash buster!!

Supply List:

Sewing machine in good working order. 
Needles: Microtex 80 or top stitch
Pair two fabrics that work well together. Bring several pairs of fabric for multiple bags.
Small scraps at least 7 x 7 and 6 x 6 for Prairie points.
Thread to match fabric. Lynne uses Aurifil.
Sewing supplies- scissors, pins, rotary cutter, ruler, etc.
Left over batting pieces.

Cut fabric before class so you can begin immediately. After the first bag you can change dimensions.

Exterior fabric 9 x 13- Cut 2
Interior Fabric 9 x 17- 
Batting 9 x 13
Fusible Interfacing 9 x 3- Cut 2
Accent Square # 1: 3 x 3 Cut 2
Accent Square #2: 3 1/2 x 3 1/2- Cut 2

If you have hardy JUNK scissors that can cut metal bring them. Lynne will bring several.

There will be a $5 supply fee which includes metal rulers, duct tape, extra interfacing and batting.
