Please Call to Register, this class is for returning or experienced students.
This club will continue with and expand upon the techniques learned in the first sessions.
This club meets once monthly and includes four sessions:
Wednesday @ 1PM on July 6, August 3, September 14, and October 12
Club members do not need to bring their long arms. We have a Juki J-350QVP Miyabi Long arm that we will demonstrate on.
Members should bring:
-Note pad and Pen for notes
-Sketchpad and pencils for design planning
-A practice quilt* (See note)
*We recommend that your practice quilt be a "real" piece; this will make your concentration on the design work stronger and also will give you the feel for quilting in a defined space. There are some great ideas in the book "Quilting Wide Open Spaces" by Judi Madsen. This quilt top does not need to be complete before the first meet. The size of your practice quilt can be altered to a smaller size if you plan to practice the techniques on a sit-down machine or domestic machine.
