Embroidery Essential Skills: Tiling Scene

Create a darling trivet while learning the basics of creating a tiling scene. After this class, you will know the process for stitching and completing a tiling scene

These Supplies will be provided for you. Your supplies will include:

• OESD Medium Weight TearAway
• OESD Fusible Woven 
• Cotton fabric for tiles and backing (Feel free to bring your own if you'd like, 1 yard)
• Batting 
• Isacord Threads, assorted. (Feel free to bring your own if you'd like)

Here is what you'll need to bring:

• Embroidery Machine in good working order**
• 6x10" hoop or Bernina oval hoop (or larger). 5" x 7" Hoop is OK too if that is your machine's max.
• Topstitch needle 80/12
• Small/plug spool cap
• Power cord
• USB stick for your machine
• Prewound filtech bobbin thread in white or your Bernina bobbin pre-threaded with bobbin thread
• Regular bobbin thread in bright color, this is a good time to use up a half-filled bobbin
• If your machine is a combination sewing/embroidery: The regular sewing foot, dual feed/walking foot, or open toe foot. Also the foot control.
• If you have an embroidery only machine: we will have a sewing machine in the store for you to use.
• If you are bringing your own fabric: sewing thread to match.
