In this class, the instructor will discuss:
- Non-fray materials such as vinyl and cork
- Thread choices
- Snaps and rivets, when and how to use them
- Tool selection: hand-held tool vs. table top press to set your hardware
- Zipper usage: what to look for when selecting zippers for your projects and demonstration on
how to install zipper pull on zipper tape

What you'll Need:
- Machine in working condition
- Zipper foot
- 1/4" foot
- General purpose foot
- 50wt Polyester thread in white or neutral colors
- 90/14 Top stitch needle (in your machine)
Machines appropriate for this class
Most home sewing machines will work for this class provided they are in good, working condition. If you have one of the machines listed below, that will be the best fit, but all types are welcome.
This class is perfect for straight stitch table top semi-industrial machines like:
- Juki TL series
- Janome HD9
- Babylock accomplish
or
Janome Machines with HP foot and plate like:
- Janome M7
- Janome 6700
- Janome 9450QCP
